MGM Grand Detroit Announces Layoffs

DETROIT -- MGM Grand Detroit is planning to lay off about 100 workers over the next two to four weeks.The cuts include a combination of salaried and hourly workers.All of the hourly workers to be laid off are in the food and beverage department.

Some full-time positions could also be downgraded to part-time positions.This is the second round of layoffs for the casino this year.
