Cessna Layoffs

We will find out by the end of the month how many of the two thousand company layoffs at Cessna will happen at the Bend plant. Cessna spokesman Doug Oliver says the pink slips will be divided between the Bend and Wichita plants, and it’s hoped this will be the last round of layoffs for the year. 665 employees were laid off in December with 165 of those in Bend.
